About Us

The Fountain House grew out of our love of entertaining! My husband Eric and I enjoy meeting people and hearing their stories. We all have stories of our experiences to share. Truly caring for people and making their stay with us pleasant is what we love to do.

We enjoy sharing our historic home in the beautiful Cumberland Valley, just a mile from historic downtown Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Centrally located just off Interstate 81 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Central PA has so much to offer. Relax and enjoy a lovely evening at one of our award winning restaurants or catch a show at our world class event venues (or both).

Many folks come to Carlisle for the car shows at the Carlisle Fair Grounds. We make it easy to park your car trailer so you can arrive the night before the show starts and relax. We will gladly provide "breakfast to go" for your early start next morning.

We are also minutes from Hershey Park and Gettysburg Battlefield. You can stay out of the hubbub so you can enjoy these attractions at your own pace and come back to peace and quite and a complimentary glass of wine.

So much to see and do or just relax on our eight acres along the beautiful Letort Spring Run. We are home to some of the best fly fishing in the world. You can walk out into the back yard and fish the world famous "peninsula and barnyard stretch" of Vince Marinara and Charlie Fox fame.
